Around 4.3 million international visitors to Vietnam in 2007, three million visitors have visited the Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam, around 70% [35]. In 2007 was the year the city has been a strong step forward, the number of tourists increased by 12% compared to 2006, tourism revenue reached VND 19,500 billion, up 20% [63]. As a young city with 300 years of history, but Ho Chi Minh City has built many buildings and owns a diverse culture.

Most hotels are due to international corporations such as Accor, Furama, Mariot or Shareton management and most concentrated in District 1. Besides, the city also eight 4-star hotel with 1,281 rooms, 20 three-star hotels with 1,621 rooms. Due to the development of tourism, the superior rooms in the city is short. Although many investors intend to build luxury hotels in Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam but they have difficulty in finding locations. As expected, by 2020, the city will have 10 thousand rooms 4 or 5 stars [65].
The tourist attractions of the city is relatively diverse. With 11 museums system, mainly on historical themes, Ho Chi Minh led Vietnam in the number of museums. The museum's largest and oldest city of Vietnam History Museum with 30 thousand exhibits. While most visitors to the War Remnants Museum is a foreigner [66], the museum attracts many domestic tourists especially Ho Chi Minh Museum [67]. Ho Chi Minh City is a city of religious diversity. On the territory of the city now has more than a thousand pagodas, temples were built over time. But the church appears mainly in the 19th century in the style of Roman, Gothic. Cathedral and the city's most famous church of Our Lady, located in District 1, completed in 1880. Colonial period has left the city several important buildings, such as Head City People's Committee, the Opera House, Central Post Office, Ben Nha Rong ... Palace and the General Science Library was built under the Republic of Vietnam. Modern architectural mark in cities with high buildings, hotels, shopping centers like Diamond Plaza, Saigon Trade Centre ... The area outside the center, Cu Chi, Can Gio Mangrove Park Duc brokers are also an important tourist destination.
Ho Chi Minh City is also a shopping and entertainment. Besides the music tea rooms, bars, discotheques, theater, the city has a lot of amusement parks such as Dam Sen Park, Fairy Stream, Zoo. The mall, like Ben Thanh Market, Diamond Plaza ... system of restaurants, cafes as well as the strength of a tourist city.
