On 4 / 11, Saigontourist travel agency to coordinate with the Permanent Delegation of Vietnam representative at the United Nations held a festival to promote tourism in Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam in New York, USA.
Speaking at the festival, Chairman of City People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh Le Hoang Quan said the city identified tourism as one of the important tasks to promote the image of the country, people, text chemical, social, historical, economic potential, invites investors and the great achievements on the path of renewal of the city.
Every year, Ho Chi Minh city often organize tourism fairs as "fair three countries - one destination" in 2010, including three countries Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and tourism fair in 2011 and more Myanmar 140 tourism companies in and outside the country.
Thanks to the efforts of the government and people of the city, within 10 months of 2011, the city has welcomed 2.9 million international tourists in 2012 and is expected to welcome more than 3.4 million international visitors.
Mr. Le Hoang Quan hoped that in future a large American tourists will visit Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam beautiful country hospitality.
